13 people died in a fire in a school hostel in China

Thirteen people were killed when a fire broke out at a school dormitory in Fangcheng, Nanyang County, central China’s Henan Province. Local authorities said on Saturday morning that the local fire department was called to the Ying of Yan Shanphu Village in Dushu Tan at 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
A fire was reported in the hostel of Kai School. Rescue workers immediately arrived at the scene and the fire was brought under control at 11:38 pm. One person was injured in the incident, who is being treated at the hospital and his condition is stable. Local authorities said the fire started. An investigation has been started to find out the reason.
