Appointments and transfers in the federal bureaucracy, the process of redeployment of the bureaucratic team of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the Prime Minister’s Office has started.
Before Shahbaz Sharif became the Prime Minister, an important appointment was made in the Prime Minister’s Office. Sameer Ahmad Syed was transferred from the Punjab government and appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
Sameer Ahmad Syed was appointed as the Principal Staff Officer of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Secretary to Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi.
Samir Ahmed Syed will also perform the duties of PSO to Prime Minister. Meanwhile, grade 22 officer Pervez Ahmed Junejo and grade 20 officer Ayesha Zareen Siddique, who are awaiting appointment in the establishment division, have been made OSD establishment division.
Services of Religious Affairs Mohammad Razi NDMA and Deputy Secretary Finance Division Military Finance Wing Kashif Rasheed have been returned to Auditor General Pakistan while Deputy Secretary Overseas Pakistanis Division Abdul Wahid Thahim has been directed to report to Establishment Division.
