The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to make Babar Azam the captain of the T20 team once again, however, according to a cricket website, he has asked for the captaincy of all three format matches. On the other hand, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi met the selection committee members on Thursday and issued instructions regarding the captaincy.
According to the sources, the names of Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi were discussed but no name could be finalized.
The chairman said that the captain will be the one without whom there will be no grouping in the team. Take advice, it is an important matter and should not be taken hastily.
