Against the rupee, the price of the dollar decreased by 25 paise in the interbank market and by 3 paise in the open market, the price of the euro decreased by 65 paise, the price of the pound also decreased by 13 paise, according to the report issued by the Forex Association on Wednesday.
Compared to the rupee, the buying price of the dollar in the interbank decreased by 10 paisa from 279.90 rupees to 279.80 rupees and the selling price decreased by 25 paisa from 280.25 rupees to 280.00 rupees.
Due to the decrease, it decreased from 278.91 rupees to 278.88 rupees, but the selling price remained at 281.07 rupees. According to the Forex report, the buying price of Euro increased by 23 paise to 303.59 rupees from 303.36 rupees, but the selling price was 65 paise. The decrease has decreased from Rs 306.18 to Rs 305.53, while the buying price of the British pound decreased by 13 paise to Rs 354.46 from Rs 354.59 and the selling price decreased by 6 paise to Rs 357.63 from Rs 357.69.
Dollar cheaper up to 25 paise in Interbank
