Chairman NAB Lieutenant General Retired Nazir Ahmed has said that I assure the officers that NAB will not harass you, you should openly play your key role in the development of the country. There will be no media trial of officers by NAB.
NAB will no longer accept applications written under fictitious or anonymous names, he expressed these views while addressing all secretaries and divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners in a meeting held at the Sindh Secretariat. Chairman NAB further said that They are bringing reforms in NAB and during the process of inquiry and verification, no media trial will be done for any officer, and no more applications written in fictitious or anonymous names will be accepted in NAB, applicants come.
And submit the application along with the affidavit. He said that he knows how much pressure the bureaucrats are working under, adding that due to the cases in NAB, the construction projects get delayed which should not happen and the projects should be completed on time. Addressing the officers, he said that he also announced the establishment of a facilitation desk in the Sindh Chief Secretary’s office, in which the NAB officers will try to solve the concerns and complaints of the officers of the Sindh Secretariat together.
Chairman NAB said that they are trying to solve the problems of the people by organizing open courts. In the meeting, Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Muhammad Fakhr Alam introduced the officers to Chairman NAB. Chief Secretary Sindh said that there was corruption in the pension fund in Sindh, in which action is being taken against the officers involved.
