The American resolution for a cease fire in Gaza was rejected in the Security Council China and Russia vetoed it as hypocritical

The United Nations Security Council rejected the American resolution for a cease-fire in Gaza, the fifth day of the attack and siege on al-Shafa hospital, 150 Palestinian martyrs in the medical complex, 80 more died in the bombardment.
According to the details, China and Russia vetoed the American resolution in the Security Council calling it hypocritical, Algeria also opposed the American resolution and called it insufficient to solve the suffering of the Palestinians, the African country Guyana did not participate in the voting.
The wording of the US resolution was “this resolution determines the need for an immediate ceasefire”, however it did not specifically call for a ceasefire as the majority of the Security Council wanted.
